add to cart does not work

Recommended Posts

Hi

I was finding it too hard to update from 1.4.7.0 to the latest so

I've installed 1.5.0.17 into a subdirectory on a new server.

I've installed my theme...worked

I've imported a csv file of my products which has worked.

Now I've gone to add to cart and nothing adds to cart :(

Also in firefox the checkout button isn't there.(is in ie and safari)

Any ideas?

Thanks good ppl

ok

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact I've imported my products via csv from the old prestashop.

I created new product to test and it can be added to the cart when using firefox but not ie.

Could I have done something to cause this....?

Also have the same problem.

When the button is clicked it throws a massive parsererror, was so big I couldn't read it (essentially the whole page)

I also have a problem when new users go to register, enter an email address (or don't), click "Create your account" and Chrome throw's this error:

TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to load form

Details:

Error throw: [object Object]

Text status: parsererror

Unsure if its related...

I have the same problem with 1.5.4, Impossible to add the product to the cart but only when testing on IE9. Firefox was working fin.

I got the ajax (add to cart) to work again by installing the paypal 3.4.5 modul. DONE NOT update to 3.4.8, however this is not a solution for me because I don't want to use paypal.

Impossible to add the product to the cart.

If you disable PayPal as payment method, everything is working fine again.

Is not there a valid PayPal module for PrestaShop 1.5?

Hello, You can use the PayPal 3.4.5. I will attach it here. We are working hard to fix the issue with 3.4.8 PayPal and Add to cart.

If you could, send me your FTP details via PM and I will have a developer fix the issue on your store. The problem is that we can duplicate the issue because it is localized only to some upgraded stores. Providing us with your FTP details will allow us to isolate and solve the issue much quicker. Thank you!

As i answered in the other topic, paypal is always assigning the SSL uri if SSL is enabled (if not, it works, for me at least). The best thing would be to use the lastest version and remove the base_uri assignment in the hookHeader function :)

Hi I have the same problem since I do the last updates of modules. I use also the current last release of Prestashop

I use the default theme and I have no specific module ....

Can HELP ? it's URGENT for a project : http://solis.butler.mu/index.php?id_category=12&controller=category&id_lang=2

Try to add and see the nice error message :

Impossible to add the product to the cart.
textStatus: 'parsererror'
errorThrown: 'SyntaxError: Unexpected token <'
responseText:

I try to desactive and reactivate some modules like block cart etc, but still have the same problem.

Thank you for your help.
