Admin reqires Login repeatedly

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Good day, I am having problem with Prestashop after installation. I successfully installed prestashop and able to go to both store and admin panel.

The problem I am having is The Admin panel is repeatedly request me for login information even I logged in. After loged in to the admin panel whenever I click any link ion the admin panel the page redirects me to the login page.

I can able to login to the admin panel. after that to access any option in admin panel it requires me a login

I installed Prestashop in Godaddy Windows hosting with PHP 5 enabled.

Can anyone having the similar issue. Please help me to fix this

Thanks

Regish

This sometimes happens just as a redirect. Some error happens and you are redirected to the login page. However, you are still logged in.

To see the difference look at the "wrong password" message above the login fields. Give once a faulty password in to see how it looks. Give than the correct password and look if it looks the same. If it doesn't appear you are logged in.

If you are logged in you can try other urls. You can also switch error detection on to see if there is some error that causes the redirect.

Hi I tried all the above still cant find the solution. My actual issue is related to the following discussion.

http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-532?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#issue-tabs

The above issues is for version 1.4 but currently I am using version 1.5. After trying all the solution still having the problem.

Every time after i login the token in the url is changed to a new one

STEPS

After login URL :  http://www.xxxx.com/backoffice/index.php?controller=AdminHome&token=bd4a99a18d6f505599fd9db6e84ba4b5

Click on Catalog->Products

Back to login screen with the following URL : http://www.xxxx.com/backoffice/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=248d4912b312eaa7456b5d8181af1731&redirect=AdminProducts

Is it something I need to check with my hosting company. I am using Godaddy windows server.

Can any one please help me on the issue

Thanks

I had it too but I am forgotten how I solved it. So it seems very unlikely to me that it is GoDaddy's fault.

You should start by checking your settings file. I think I had the base directory wrong there.

If that doesn't work you should enable error detection. But for PHP and Javascript.
