SSL upgrade

Looking around all the instructional Prestashop under this topic I have only found only instructions for previous versions.

I have Prestashop v1.6x and my SSL install screen seems to have WAY more options than anything II've seen online.

I have a new SSL cert and an IP address so far but hit a wall in Prestashop.

Appreciate any help,  Thanks.

If your SSL certificate is installed correctly, you just need to log in to the Back Office using https instead of http, then go to the Preferences > General tab and change "Enable SSL" to "Yes". If you want SSL on all pages instead of just the account, checkout and contact form pages, change "Enable SSL on all pages" to "Yes" as well.

Installing an SSL certificate on your server is unrelated to Prestashop.  Work with your hosting provider to ensure you have a valid SSL certificate installed and working OUTSIDE of Prestashop.

Once you have confirmed that is working, then you can simply "enable" the option in Prestashop to use it.
