Password length on registration step

Hi,
I would like to ask you if where is a way to change default password length from 5 characters to, example, 6 characters?
If yes, how it could be done?

Please try change following line in file /classes/Validate.php

static public function isPasswd($passwd, $size = 5)

if this could be configurable at back office, it will be better ;-) .

I want to ask.. If I will modify this parameter, users will be notified about this.. I mean notifications about that password must containing at least 5 or 6 or other number of characters?

For version 1.6.0.6 it's still in /classes/Validate.php

 

but it's a different line at the beginning of the file :   

const PASSWORD_LENGTH = 5;
