dabac.prom
Hy guys, I'm Tomislav from Croatia. When I buy my domain and hosting, I get my temporary web url: http://91.234.46.219/~larishr/ Ok, and then I installed my prestashop on my hosting etc, and edit my site. And everything works great. I edit themes, add some product for testing, translate what I need etc. And after some days, finally my real web url start to work: www.shoplaris.net But now I have some bugs and errors. 1.) I cant see any of my uploaded pictures, from product pictures to banners, themes.... 2.) Links dont work good, example: I click on "ŽENSKA MODA" (women wears), and then if I click on small home button, my site goes to http://www.shoplaris.nethttp//www.shoplaris.net/ Why? 3.) Site look awfull, like all modules change their location etc. Where is problem? I change SEO& URL to www.shoplaris.net; in cPanel and in phpmyadmin - domain and domain_ssl are www.shoplaris.net. When I log in my hosting place via FilleZila, my prestashop is installed in folder called public_html, because my hosting provider sayed that. Please help, thanks! shokinro
from what you described, it seems that you sis not change "Base URI". you can do that at back office - Preferences - SEO & URLs tab change "Base URI" from "~larishr/" to "/" and make sure you clear your browser cache too. dabac.prom
It was changed before, but still I have problems.
shokinro
If you have done that. Then the .htaccess should be regenerated. Make sure if the .htaccess file was updated by prestashop, so the new URL rewrite rules will take effect. If it was not upstated, then there might be file permission issue with that file. dabac.prom
I regenerate .htaccess file with this link: http://www.templatemonster.com/help/prestashop-1-6-x-how-to-regenerate-htaccess-file.html#gref And nothing happened, the same problems remain. Do anyone have some suggestion?
shokinro
I guess you did not specify the store domain correctly. it should be only "www.shoplaris.net", nothing else. When I looked into the HTML source via browser debugger tool, I found the image URL looks like this one http://www.shoplaris.nethttp://www.shoplaris.net/26-large_default/zenska-majica-kratki-rukav-hm.jpg Also there are many errors like below Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blocksearch/blocksearch.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.nethttp//www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockbanner/img/2c72772559e84e5c186c5737ba741f57.png Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED http://www.shoplaris.nethttp//www.shoplaris.net/img/second-hand-shop-laris-logo-1468498932.jpg Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED http://www.shoplaris.nethttp//www.shoplaris.net/26-large_default/zenska-majica-kratki-rukav-hm.jpg Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED http://www.shoplaris.nethttp//www.shoplaris.net/26-cart_default/zenska-majica-kratki-rukav-hm.jpg Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blocktopmenu/js/blocktopmenu.js Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockcms/blockcms.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/themes/default-bootstrap/css/grid_prestashop.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blocksocial/blocksocial.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/http:/www.shoplaris.net/themes/default-bootstrap/css/autoload/highdpi.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/http:/www.shoplaris.net/themes/default-bootstrap/css/autoload/responsive-tables.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/http:/www.shoplaris.net/themes/default-bootstrap/css/autoload/uniform.default.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockcontactinfos/blockcontactinfos.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockmanufacturer/blockmanufacturer.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockmyaccount/blockmyaccount.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/productpaymentlogos/productpaymentlogos.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/modules/blockpaymentlogo/blockpaymentlogo.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://www.shoplaris.net/http:/www.shoplaris.net/themes/default-bootstrap/css/modules/homefeatured/homefeatured.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) Edited July 20, 2016 by shokinro (see edit history)
dabac.prom
Ok, but i changed store domain in SEO & URL's, I checked via cPanel all places where is url domain, and in all places is just www.shoplaris.net. I still dont know where to check this problem. Is there maybe problem with hosting options?
shokinro
If you have set all configuration correctly, then I am not sure where could be the cause of the problem. it could be from theme itself or some other modules you installed or something you made to the file of your store. dabac.prom
Is there any way to backup changes that I made in my shop, and then simply delete shop from my hosting server, and install new, and then import changes? I downloaded shop from server, I have it on my computer, but where in shop is saved all changes what I make? Pictures, banners etc is not important, because I have only few uploaded pictures. But I change a lot in modules, translated what I need, add my text etc...I dont want to lose that.
shokinro
I downloaded shop from server, I have it on my computer, but where in shop is saved all changes what I make? What is your changes? Is the store configuration including module installation/configuration? Those information are saved in database. so you will have to restore the whole database. but database must be synchronised with your store file, otherwise it may not working. so usually back of your store usually mean a pair of following - backup of database - backup of your store files. But I change a lot in modules, translated what I need, add my text etc...I dont want to lose that. For translation, you may be able to backup and restore of following files /modules/thenameofthemodule/translations/ and/or themes/YourTheme//modules/thenameofthemodule/translations/ Edited July 21, 2016 by shokinro (see edit history)

rocky
The CMS content is saved in the database tables starting with ps_cms (or whatever your prefix is).
