Multistore not working with store thee

Hello community.

 

I've setup Prestashop with the Multistore feature and I thought I got it working. I have the same base for two diffrent domains but when I try to add a subdomain all I get is a white page (of death?).

 

The domains www.indiestry.se and www.birdnest.se are working just fine and as excpected. But when I add exempelbutik.indiestry.se nothing happens. I don't even get a error message just a blank page. The automatic .htaccess-file looks fine as far as I can see.

 

I've added the define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);

I'm running Prestashop 1.6.0.9.

 

If you have any tip I'd be very greatful. Thank you in advance.

Do you have exempelbutik.indiestry.se registered in DNS as a subdomain?

Yes it's added to the DNS. I have tried both wildcard and the specific exempelbutik.indiestry.se. Also tested with the local host-file. Same result. I seem to get to the server (I can ping it) but Prestashop doesn't display anything.

Strange. We don't know more without the error or server log.

I had similar issue with my multishop. Two shops were fine but the sub domain one did not work. My dns test failed somehow when i checked. I don't know if that's the problem with you.

Thank you everybody for your help. I'm very greatful.

 

Turns out I had totally missed that I added the other site as a web alias to the main site. As soon as I added the subdomains to the main store in the server it started working.

 

Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
