MyShops multi-seller/multi-vendor module can convert your Prestashop online store into a complete marketplace. Please visit www.megall.ro/mall and see our online shopping  environment where you can buy this module.

On Prestashop Cloud only addons available at Prestashop addons can be installed. It is not possible to install foreign modules, unless they are not bought through addons page or modules have a trusted certificate from Prestashop.

You can check multi vendor marketplace module for your site, its build with most of the shipping carriers by default.

http://www.modulebazaar.com/en/prestashop-marketplace.html

Which is more helpful for your prestashop multi vendor site.

This also cannot be installed on Prestashop Cloud. It is not available on official addons site, in consequence not a certified module.

Hi,

Creating a marketplace with PrestaShop is possible with different modules which you'll easily find in the Addons store.

Happy selling!

Hi Xavier any example or link for it? I was not able to find under multivendor or multi-vendor search any module on the official addons site.

so is a multivendor marketplace not possible with prestashop cloud?

Thank you

As stated before: only modules sold on Prestashop Addons official site can be installed on Prestashop Cloud. If you want to have a MULTIVENDOR market place you should take into consideration to use own hosting package at any other hosting provider. The free cloud service is not suitable for this.

hi People,

the Multivendor webstore is exactly what I want to create as well. If it indeed is possible to create this with Prestashop, then I'm in. I still need to learn a lot, but if the possibility is there I give it a go....

Hi Marandrew,

No, it's not a built-in feature. Instead, you have to install a third party module.

Cheers,

hi Tung,

my dream is a real warehouse, a department store with many stores by many people. Let's say: what if I have 20 to 30 or maybe 50 stores. You see: I want to help artists, and give them the possibility to start their own shop in a shop-in-shop environment where they get support in a lot of ways. Like coaching, legal support, bookkeeping, training, helping them with their business plan etc. etc. these activities can be run form a central office. So a shop-in-shop structure with a central office. That is my aim,

can it be done with yopur solution?

cheers, Andrew.

@ Marandrew - you are using own hosting services or the Prestashop Cloud ? If it is selfhosted, so I need to split your question from this topic, cause it is specially added to the forum section for PRESTASHOP CLOUD QUESTIONS. On Cloud it is not possible to install the module stated by Tung.

Marandrew,

In this case, I don't think you need Multi Vendor module.

Instead, just activate Multistore feature of PrestaShop.

So, you will have:

- 1 central back office

- unlimited shops

- unlimited warehouses (physical stores)

- 1 shop can associate with one or many physical stores

Cheers

@Prestashop Superstar: I am in an orienting state. A lot of things are coming at me. And I do need some guidance in this complicated matter. So if this topic is not allowed in the Cloud discussion: then where should I go to continue this discussion because I do need an answer for my question. I hope for a professonal solution and answer for this queston.

@Tung: no I don' t want phisica l stores. I want a lot of webstores, so I do indeed need a Prestashop module fit for many webstores, but with a single office. If I were to start 50 physical stores I would go bankrupt within a month. So indeed I need a hosted version of Prestashop, and where should I go to continue this conversation? Many thznks in advance,

Best regsrds, Andrew

Hey Andrew,

As far as I understand, you just open many webstores with the central back office dashboard

If so, yes, Multistore (or Multishop) feature fits your needs.

You are optional to NOT set up a physical stores or UNLIMITED physical stores, it's up to you!

P/S:

I don't where this topic should be started, but it seems, this box is the best place:

Community Help & Support > PrestaShop download > Configuring and using PrestaShop:

Hi Andrew,

you question is simply to answer. Who will manage the shops ? One central back-office means: One company with many employees, managing all shops = Multistore. The other acrchitecture is á la Amazon/ebay. One platform and each user is responsible for the managament of his own shop = Multivendor.

Regards

Conny
