Custom tax not working

My problem is that custom tax I have added is not working.

 

I have imported localization pack in my prestashop, there 4% & 12.5% taxes were provided with it. I want to use 5% tax on products for that I have created a tax rule and tax both. When I use imported taxes it works but when I use custom tax it print the same value as it is.

 

Not getting where I have mistaken... Need help!!!

Have you checked all the relevant states/countries for the new tax rule?

I have enabled only one city and a state rests are disabled. Dont know how to check that out. While adding product and its price it doesn't update its final price in custom tax case.

Have you tried checking it while registered as a customer with the correct address (the valid city and state)?

you'll need to provide details of the tax and tax rule settings you have configured. 

 

I assume you have a tax defined with 5%.

Then you need to have a tax rule defined that uses the 5% tax.  This tax rule needs to have sub tax rule that defines the country/zip code and behavior that should be applied.

It is not solved completely.

It gets update in backend but shows price without tax in shop only with that particular tax.
