Paypal 3.5.5. internal server error

My version of prestashop is 1.5.2.0 (I'm not going to update it because I made a lot of changes so I keep it like that) and I updated the paypal module to 3.5.5

It doesn't works, at the time of concluding the order and then selecting the payment with paypal gives me an error page with code

 

500: Internal Server Error

 

I searched for a solution, I tried to change the configuration of the module but nothing, the problem persists. I therefore went back to 3.4.5 and running again.

If anyone has a solution or point me know how to resolve would be grateful.

Is not decisive, since the form "old" works and allows me to sell but would like to have the latest release or know if it is a bug, and then wait for the next.

if you changed what you mentioned above it mean that your store is under debug mode now.

All you have to do now: try to order something and use paypal as payment method

I'm not a php [spam-filter], so the only thing I can come up with is to go backwards in the paypal versions (just to see if you at least get another error or something) (And of corse I take it to that you have enabled "Force Compile" and disabled "Cache" in performance)

 

That's what I would have done while waiting for someone with a little more knowledge to drop by =)

I was seeking in the code - /modules/paypal/backward_compatibility and so on - but didn't find a reason of this message. It is definitely an issue in code, not templates, themes etc.

 

I suggest to debug that in NetBeans or similar debugger or if you can't than put die() functions with a message on 100 places in code and try to find the exact place and reason against PayPal test account through small steps ahead.
