Create text box below footer on front page

Hi All,

 

I would like to create a text box below (or in) the footer of my front page.

How can i do that ??

 

I have tried using the home text editor, but that module is not allowed to be hooked to the footer hook.

It should just be there and contain some SEO friendly text about the site.

you can do it by adding own text manually to the footer.tpl file located in your theme directory, you can also create own textbox using free modules like html box / content box

there are also many modules that allow you to place custom content within the various "positions" like footer, right column, left column, product pages etc...

You could search the forums or a google search and you will likely find something that works.

 

I also sell the block random module, which allows you to place custom content in the left or right column. But if you purchased it, I could easily alter it to place the content within the footer.
