justinl
Has anyone else been experiencing this? It seems to be in the evenings PST (-8GMT) that Prestashop.com goes down for 30 minutes or so. Is anyone else experiencing this outage? I just wanted to say something because this was the 3rd night in a row. Cheers, Justin
Wingz
Yes, same here. The outages have been quite frequent over the last several weeks - or they just happen to coincide with when I want to access something

Fabien Serny
We are working on us. There is known issue in 1.4.2.5 (we fixed it in the last 1.4.5.1 version, but you should not have your front office impacted, only some parts of your back office). We are currently working on it. Mike Kranzler
Hi everybody, Thank you for your help in providing us with extra information. We have made some changes to our site that will prevent this downtime that has been affecting your shops, and will continue to monitor it closely to ensure that this will no longer be an issue for you. MrBaseball34
Mike, why would your site being down affect other people's stores? You should give option to turn off polling of your site for updates, etc. so it won't do that to the other stores.
Mike Kranzler
Hi MrBaseball, Unfortunately I don't have any additional information for you on this other than the fact that our developers are aware of this and are actively working on a solution. As soon as I know anything else though, I'll be sure to let you know! -Mike
MrBaseball34
We had one problem with our website where we had several links to a test site that had been taken down. It caused high latency problems until I found that the reason was the bad links. It really depends on the server and the timeout values. If the server has a high timeout value, it could wait for a long time to "return" so it could look like the site is down.
