[ask] New option, move images

Recommended Posts

Hi,
I've seen the new option in Preferences->Images concerning moving images to improve speed; I've done it on my live test site and product images disappeared. Anybody did that with better results ? Did the speed improve ?

Great article, thanks. Is there any other additional resources to lower the loading speed of images? I just migrate all my site to another server but someone I believe it just takes longer to load. I contacted them served support team but they believe is on my site side rather than theirs. I just don't see how the same excat site slowed down all of a sudden?

I've got this option successfully working on my website. I've written an article here about how to set it up. You must turn off legacy mode, move the images, then regenerate your .htaccess file.

I was trying that a few months ago then the hosted server displayed a timeout and the images weren't displaying anymore; luckily it was the test live site so no harm done.

Do you have any advice to prevent this issue ?

Kind Regards,
