I'm removing the order reference number from anything customer facing and replacing it with id_order, but I can't seem to do it on the order-details.tpl. I think maybe the variable doesn't exist on that page, but I'm not enough of a programmer to figure out how to get it there. This is the code I'd like to change: <strong>{l s='Order Number %s placed on' sprintf=$order->getUniqReference()} {dateFormat date=$order->date_add full=0}</strong> I tried replacing sprintf=$order->getUniqReference() with sprintf=$order->id_order but that did not work. Any ideas? I'm using PrestaShop 1.6.1.18 and a custom copy of the default bootstrap theme.

I've been testing out an upgrade from 1.5.2 to 1.6.1.18 on a development site, but I'm having trouble getting the images to work right. I have read a lot of different advice in the forums, but nothing has exactly worked and some of it seems old or outdated. Here are some details: I have run the 1-click upgrade successfully. I switch over to a custom theme. I go to images and try moving to the new structure, but get a message about 8000+ errors with the original image missing or empty, ie, not moved to new structure. The original image IS in the /img/p/ directory. I have tried this with the legacy file systems set to both yes and no. Cache is turned off, friendly URLs are turned off, Smarty is set to force compilation. I have also tried regenerating product images (home_default) in particular, but that usually results in an "[An error occurred while processing this directive]". Is there any foolproof way to both regenerate and move images to the new structure? Or does it depend very much on what version you are coming from? Is there an order that things should be done in? Ie, regenerate thumbnails and then move images? Or the reverse? And how can I tell what image sizes are necessary for the default_theme that Prestashop 1.6.18 uses? Thanks for any advice. The upgrade has not been smooth and I'm trying not to lose it over the images.

I'm using PayPal US 1.3.9 and PrestaShop 1.6 and would like to know how to change the URL the customer goes to after a successful PayPal transaction. They currently end up at the Order History page, which does not always show their recent order without refreshing. It would be better to send them to an order confirmation page or even to their account page. Is this possible?

I've been trying to find out when PS&More might put out a new version of Product Properties Extension that is compatible with PresaShop 1.7. I was in the middle of an upgrade to 1.6 when 1.7 showed up and have to decide which way to go. I've sent a few emails to PS&More support, but have had no response for 10 days or so. I also just sent a message via the Addons Marketplace, but I'm getting tired of being in limbo. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!

Are there reasons not to use the default theme with PrestaShop 1.6? I have a very specific design that I need to create, so I'll need to modify any theme that i use. It was fairly simple to work with the default them in 1.5 and I was assuming it would be the same with 1.6. But maybe not? I do think Bootstrap is a great base to work with.

I'm looking for someone to help upgrade a store with about 1000 products and several modules. I'm going to set up a development area for the upgrade so all the bugs can get worked out and then we'll need to redo the upgrade on the live site. I'm going to be creating the a custom theme based on the default bootstrap theme in 1.6.1, but may need some help. Would like to see rough estimates for this work in any PMs. Thanks, Michelle

Here's what I heard from Presta-Module: I turned off the cache on the module and then turned the cache back on for Prestashop. So far, so good with the ADTM files, but within a minute I had 10 blockcategories files. Anyone have a suggestion for this and is the ADTM solution a good one?

They seem to be mostly ADTM files with a few blockcategories throw in.

I'm running PrestaShop 1.5.2 and have more than 3,000 products in the shop. Recently, the cache has been growing out of control and has taken down the site twice and I've had to turn it off. It grows to about 12GB and then kills the site until the contents of the cache folder are deleted. I found a post about a similar issue here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/176681-slow-blockcategoriestpl/ I followed the directions and changed the blockcategories files, but the problem still exists. It seems to be more ADTM files than blockcategories. My Performance settings are: Smarty: Never recompile, Cache off (was on until last night) CCC: CCC for CSS, CCC for Javascript, minify HTML, compress inline Javascript, Keep W3C Validation, Appache optimization is off (CCC needs to be on or the pages are broken Caching: off (not available on my hosting server) Anyone have any ideas/solutions for this problem?

Change selected tax rule in Backoffice
betyonfire replied to betyonfire's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
It sounds more like an issue with where the tax is included than setting a default tax rule. You might want to start a new thread. Also, checking your site settings to see if you are including tax in the product price.- 11 replies

Changing the amount of products per page
betyonfire replied to kiwiacw's topic in Ecommerce x PrestaShop [ARCHIVE BOARD]
This did actually work for me -- it just took some time for some reason. -
No solution yet. How about you? Does anyone know if this is a bug in the Authorize.net module?
