CSS for emails? Possible/desirable?

I am not enthused about having to make changes to every single html file for every language just to change the look and feel (I doubt many people want the pink bar in their emails LOL)... So I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a css file that would govern all emails for all languages installed, and then just go in and add it has an external css file in the code for each of the email (html) files? Obviously I would still have to go into every single html file for every language, but would this be a good way to go about it?

It's not possible to link a CSS file to an email, which is why PrestaShop has embedded the CSS in the HTML. I suggest that you use software like Dreamweaver that lets you search-and-replace all the files in a selected directory. I use it to change all the colours in all the email templates in one go.
