Shop down, 500 error

HI,

 

I'm a newbie so I hope you can help me.

 

Our Prestashop went down today and we get login at the backend and the frontend shows a 500 error. The shop was 99% finished:(

 

I have found some errors in log which I have attached.

 

I hope you could have a look at the log file and hopefully help me.

Many shops are down due to DDOS attack on Dynamic DNS (DNS provider)

Though, your error log says that the Connexion with your DB cannot be done. Look into your setting.php in config to be sure that your DB credentials are all okay.

I don't think that is the problem, because there are many errors in the log.

On log, I would say your database is out of access. Was your database on the same server and domain name? Was it on localhost?

yes, database is on the same server.

 

I don't know what you mean be "domain name on localhost"

 

Any suggestion to access the database? or test the access?

Do you have a server access, like CPANEL, DirectAdmin, Plesk, some admin to access PHPMyAdmin.

 

Is your setting.php in the config directory okay?

I have cPanel and access to PHPMyAdmin.

config/settings.inc.php is a file in your application file system. It is something you need to look trought FTP.

 

With cPanel you should be able to see your Db users, make sure it match your settings.inc.php value for :

_DB_NAME_

_DB_USER_

_DB_PASSWD_

I found the setting.inc.php and attached it here, but I can't find the DB users in phpMyAdmin?

 

In phpMyadmin; if I click the tables on the left then I get an error "unknown storage engine 'InnoDB', see image.

Never, put this file in any subject, that's not a good pratice. I just wanted you to look at it and make sure the data matches. (remove your attachment, better not leave it)

 

You can regenerate your DB password and put it in its place.

 

If that doesn't resolve, it might mean that your DB service isn't working, contact your host to be sure everything is okay...that error about storage is weird. Talk about it to your host.

Hi, call your hosting  for assistance, you now know where these definitions are, but db access is defined via your cpanel.  Contact them.  Also for assistance post in 'job offers' you will have no problem finding tech support person to help you resolve.  good luck!

I could help, but as you can see, I have many long disconnect time on forum. Let's just say that I can't give more time that I actually have.

 

I would refer, like El Patron said, to the job offers.

I would forget it. Your shop is working and i have seen that "Shop not found at line 404 in file classes/shop/Shop.php" error many times and don't think it is a fatal problem.
