how to add the same states in multi zone

hi

in my country the shipping company every company have its own zones

some of states grouped in a zone for example

sates01-sates05-sates08 --> zone 1

sates02-sates06-sates09 --> zone 2

sates03-sates04-sates07 --> zone 3

 

and the other company have different arrange for zones

 

who can i arrange that

you have to choose the zone for each state at back office - Localizaton - States tab.

Edit each state and choose Zone and then save

I assume you have already created all zones. otherwise, you have create the zones first.

what if the same states should be in three different zone as i explane

fo example

states1,states2,states3 in FedEx are zone one

states1,states2 in dhl are zone one too

but states3 are in different zone

I do not think PrestaShop support this kind of setting, a province could only assigned to one zone.

 

But as workaround, you can set each state a a zone(make small zones).

So for carrier FedEx, you can choose state1, state2 and state3, for carrier  DHL you can choose state1, state2.

That this it should be working for you - just too many zones, not easy to manage.
