lockety
HI all I am a newbie to Prestashop but was building the site with no problems, getting to the stage where I wanted to make it live, but when I spoke to our hosting company about making it live they offered very little support. When I go to login it doesn't accept my username or password (it doesn't reject them but doesn't go any further). The login page is also not displaying correctly. I think it may have happened when within prestashop I changed the URL to not include Prestashop, but I have no idea how to undo this, as I can't login. Can anybody Please help me? shokinro
if you only change the folder of PrestaShop, it should not be a problem to log in to back office. here is what you can try - delete following file, - try log gin again, if log in success , correct the configuration of Preferences - SEO & URLs tab, .htaccess If this does not work, you may try to change the settings in db directly via your control - PhpMyAdmin, make sure store domain, and physical_uri(folder) setting is correctly. ps_shop_url

shokinro
It is .htaccess file under store root.
lockety
I deleted the htacess file but it hasn't made any difference. My login panel link is this, it doesn't display properly? http://promotionalproducts-sr.co.uk/presta/PPSR/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=f23f21f3d13495e08cf31b5fd2b7d410&redirect=AdminDashboard#
shokinro
have you checked data in ps_shop_url and make sure the domain and physical_uri are set correctly? can you post the screenshot of database records of table ps_shop_url so that I will be able to see if it is correct or not. musicmaster
Sorry I worked out how to post it I have saved the screenshot as a pdf file. That doesn't look good. In the field physical_uri you need to mention the subdirectory. You have entered there the domain name. If it is in the root the content should be "/". If you shop is in a subdirectory like "http://www.myshop.com/shop/" then it will be "/shop/".
