Cannot Add New Product To Presta (An Error Occurred While Creating An Object. Product)

This is the error I'm getting:

 

An error occurred while creating an object. product

 

...and debug gives me this:

 

[PrestaShopDatabaseException]

Unknown column 'last_connection_date' in 'where clause'

                       UPDATE `ps_employee`

                       SET `last_connection_date` = CURRENT_DATE()

                       WHERE `id_employee` = 1 AND `last_connection_date`< CURRENT_DATE()

The last_connection_date field is new in PS 1.6.0.11. It means the database wasn't successfully upgraded.

 

I suggest to compare your actual database schema with the original one.

here is screen shot of what ps_employee looks like with that field.  Hopefully you can just add this field and move forward.
