Pvv Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Hi. i wounder if anyone could help me. I followed the video tutorial for the installation. Downloaded the files, unziped them, created sql database on cpanel, then uploaded the files via filezilla to the server under the /shop subdirectory. But now i cannot install prestashop when i enter the url into the browser. i get following message. Not FoundThe requested URL /shop was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. And i know i have those files on the server, because i am looking at them. The same message is given if i try /shop/install. I hope anybody knows the problem and could help me. Thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
polosat Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Are you sure you created the /shop subdirectory in the correct place? Parent directory should be something like "www" or "public_html". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
