Message from customer was left at CUSTOMER SERVICE - Did not forward to my email automatically

If a customer leaves a message in the CUSTOMER SERVICE module shouldn't that mssg automatically forward to my email address?

Someone did and it did not!

 

Please help me see how to set messages left in PrestaShop to forward automatically to my email address.

hello

you use IMAP protocol? there is a chance that prestashop marks this message as read, and your mail client doesnt see it because message is marked as read.

you use some mail client like thunderbird? or checking the mailbox directly?

The mailbox I "check directly" is GMAIL.
So I ask again, how do we verify that my PrestaShop settings are correctly configured to forward messages?

 

I just searched my shop for any mention if "IMAP" as you mentioned above...

Under the envelope "LATEST MESSAGES" > "SHOW ALL MESSAGES" > bottom of the page "Customer service options" -

Do these IMAP fields need to be filled in?
