pjuk Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I hope someone can help i have been trying for hours to work this out but i can't.Anyway i installed prestashop last night and it was really easy to install.today i put a product on and set the carrier, price range and weight up but when i click buy it does not add the shipping only the handling charge.I am confused and don't know what to do.I have set the weight for the product for sale and thought that would find the weight in the shipping and add to the total.or do i have to assign the product to the shipping seperatePaul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pjuk Posted August 9, 2008 Author Share Posted August 9, 2008 I have the shipping sorted now well sort of i reinstalled the whole thing.It works when i put the items in singlyIf i add another item it increase's the price and shipping the correct amount.Now if i add a third item it increase's the price the correct amount but reduce's the shipping by £5 ?I have tried with 3 of the same item also and it does it on the third item.Just hope no one orders more than two item otherwise it will be costing me. jtyana Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Hi Junnetico,Yes, I have put in the prices in the tableWhat I have now discovered is that the shipping shows on checkout but not in the ajax cartThe strange thing is that the test version I have on my local PC works just fine ie shipping gets updated in the ajax cartI can't find what the difference is between the 2 installsThe only thing I can think of is that for one install, I didn't install sample data. That is the one not working in the cart. The install that works was installed with sample dataBut how to find the difference :grrr: I'll reinstall with sample data and see how it goes.
