search not working in 1.6.0.11

The new 1.6.0.11 has a lot of problems and is not possible to rollback.

 

One of this problems is the search module, not working in new products.

 

Of course we have reindexed the search, and also the layered module, but it is ridiculous tha in home page I see a product as "new" and it is not found if serched in the search module.

 

By the way, does anyone found a solution?

I have v1.6.11 also and I just tried to replicate your problem.  But I cannot. The search is working fine for me.

However, I had multiple, multiple issues with 1.6.11 when I was using an upgrade from v1.6.5 using 1-click upgrade.  I can't recall if this was one of them. 

But I found that virtually all my problems went away when I did a clean install of v1.6.11.

I mention this only to suggest the possibility that the problem may not be 1.6.11 in itself.  But rather the upgrade process may have been flawed.

I can't lost the id of my products, 'cause I pay for ads and if I change this, reinstalling everything, product ids must change.

 

The problem is very relevant.
