One thing I need to change is the order which the site is loading. This won't speed up the site ofcourse, but it'll make the customer happy because it LOOKS fast. For example: First load all visible elements and THEN load all background stuff. In the meantime, the customer can watch at all the pictures i have on my site. Anyone want to share his opinion about this one? PrestaHeroes USA Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 I have 1.6 + And i prefer solving it without using money. 1.6 + is not enough info to help. before 1.6.0.7 all java bottom loaded, for 1.6.0.7 and higher optional, bo-->adv parms-->perfor-->load java top/bottom it would be awesome if template designers and module developers could make there themes work properly with all java bottom, but like herding cats, that is not 'always' possible. In 1.6.0.7 and higher this is an option (load bottom). so if you right click your front office-->view source-->scroll down you will see javascript loaded bottom, then you are good to go assuming your theme and modules (non-default) are working for you. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Keep using the site you have, if you feel you need to upgade then try it out locally first to see if it is a benefit for you. But then i had to update it to 1.6 because of a problem Now i have to update again? I'm happy with the version i have now and don't want to risk another update.
