BO currency Euro & FO currency USD

Hello guys,

 

I use ps 1.6.0.6 and i need help with a situation. I want to add some products and products combinations in euro currency but i need for the FO display prices to be in USD.

 

How can i make this working?

 

Any help or existing module info's will be appreciated.

Simply set the default currency to euros, so it's the one seen in the back office, and then enable usd in the front. Now, the problem is people will see euros by default too, but at least they can switch to usd if needed

so there is no way to make USD in front-end by default?

Front-end only? No, it would display usd in the back office as well

hello

you can deal with geolocation and some tools to define currency depending on language version

for example, you can setup euro as default currency, then with features that i mentioned define dollar as a front office currency for each language / location.

 

i think that @El Patron and his awesome geolocation tools is right person to contact with

probably best way is to modify the creating of currency object to use USD or after creation to set currency to USD.

 

then simply disable currency selection module in front office.

 

if you do not feel comfortable making/testing this approach I am sure you can post in job offers and get it done for very little money.
