cyberdoc Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 hi guys, i shifted my PS 1.6.0.6 shop from one server to another. in the initial one it was in a subfolder (/newsite) and in the new one its in the root. now i changed the path in SEO & URLs from /newsite to '/' and the site opens. but in some pages it redirects to /newsite/url and in some it works correctly. ive tried clearing cache , regenerating .htaccess but doesn't seem to work. am also not able to see images in many products.. pls help guys its urgent!! the site is http://signsnprint.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cyberdoc Posted June 29, 2014 Author Share Posted June 29, 2014 no they are not hardcoded but in seo and URL's i see the format {rewrite:}/id-... so im suspection it is still taking the rewrite from somewhere. where and how, no idea.. thanks a lot for your help so far!! Check this link. most products work while this still goes to /newsite path... ONe more doubt there is no storage of subfolder path in the database na? bcoz ive imported the db as it is.. UPDATE: i got most product links working by removing {rewrite} from all url in the seo and urls tab. but some pages defined in the cms(HOME,CONTACT US etc ) still point to /newsite/ although there is no option to hardcode the link. also half of the products still missing images.. what more needs to be done? cyberdoc Posted June 29, 2014 Author Share Posted June 29, 2014 hi vekia , thanks a lot for replying . that page (31-banners) i fixed by removing {rewrite} from all the url defined in SEO nd URL tab. now i face issue with home and contact us in the main menu and the missing product images in many products.. any solution with them?? also home and contact us pages are defined in the cms nd there is no hardcoded urlthere...
