PrestaShop 1.6 not working if joomla 3 is installed in root directory

Recommended Posts

Hello

PrestaShop 1.6 not working if joomla 3 is installed in root directory opencart works ok if joomla 3 is installed in root directory. Any idea

Root>PrestaShop>PrestaShop folders?

It can't be installed in exactly the same place but they both can be in the root. PrestaShop should be in it's own dedicated folder.

Hello

I changed to define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); but now I get in browser  Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/sites .............

Great! We figured it out. You have a memory limit on your server. You can increase your memory limit by calling your host or by changing the php.ini file as described here. http://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/where-is-php-ini-file/

Hello

I changed php.ini as you recommended but I have same error. In public-html I have also php5.ini  both php have text

max_execution_time =300

upload_max_filesize = 15M

post_max_size = 10M

memory_limit = 256M

display_errors = 0

register_globals = 0

output_buffering = 0

magic_quotes_gpc = '0'

Contact your host to make sure these changes are being applied. 256 MB's is enough to install PrestaShop but your hosting provider can give you more information.
