gordophysio
I have SSL site wide, but cannot get it to work with Prestashop. I have SSL enabled under preferences>general. Under preferences> seo and urls, i have the shop domain as listed in my web site ssl, with no prefix before the domain. In SSL domain, I have https://russellcreations.net. In Base URL, by default, there is /prestashop/. When I click on "view my shop", in the URL is: https://https//russellcreations.net/prestashop/, and I get a screen with the message: Server not .found, can;t find the server (of course). Anyone know why the double https gets entered in there? If I take it out of the SSL domain text window so that it is the same as the shop domain, the page loads, but all the page data is scrambled and in a column on the left side of the page.! I've been working on this for 3 weeks now, I'm sure that I'm losing orders because without this, CC payments won't work. Help!
tdr170
So lets say your site is http://yourdomain.com/prestashop your SEO & URL would look like this: shop url - /prestashop/ shop domain - yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com shop ssl domain - yourshop.com or www.yourdomain.com
gordophysio
Thanks, but still doesn't work. I'm ready to change shopping carts...
gordophysio
OK, for some reason, I went back to what I had entered before, which is what you had, and now it works. My shop shows up with SSL, BUT there is a warning symbol in the url in front of the address. Clicking on it tells you that some images or something may not be secure. Also, I still don't have the CC option at check out, only Paypal, which is forcing you to sign up to go any further.
vekia
i checked your website but... it loads normally for me this warning appears because your page loads unsecured (without ssl) contents. make sure that you use latest version of modules available fot 1.5.x release + problems like that were already fixed on forum (for example insecured load of logo) what prestashop version you use? (exact version)
gordophysio
Thanks Vekia! I updated all of the modules that needed it, but I'm still getting the warning symbol in the url that some of the data is not secure. Can you check it out again Please? I'm using V. 1.5.6.

gabiatti
Hi Vechia, please help me I'm have the same problem for almost two months. I could manage part of the problem using CCC for CSS files (that caused lost ofmy background image, but its ok for now). After I do that, my secured pages starts load the configurations of js and css (instead of that messed page) without the need to load unsafe scripts in browser. But, if the client needs to register, the fields of PostalCode (ZIP) and State is hidden, and only shows if they authorize the browser to load unsafe content. I did not test any other transaction under https yet. My unsafe content is coming from the folders themes, js and modules. Everything was working perfect and fine until I try to configure media servers in Performance. After that, even deleting those fields and the domains that I've created, my site never work again. IS that possible that my db keeps the media servers configuration? All those script and media links are coming dynamically, there's no http nowhere to deal with (as I saw in another posts about google fonts or logo image). I'm already checked my classes/link.php and a lot of other options available in the Forum. The url is http:www.lcsmotorparts.com There's no problems using Opera or Safari, only with Chrome, Firefox and IE I'm sure that the solution is easy, probably in header.tpl, but I tried everything that I could.
