The Report Store
We are almost live then this came up. We realized that we could have more than one option for a feature that we want the item to be sorted in. In other words, the virtual product could work for more than one Version of software, as the DLL files might not have changed between two Versions. When we tried to add the two choices, seperated with a comma, the sort did not work. For example, the file worked for Version 2013, and Version 2014 under the Feature - Version, but when we put those choices on the right-hand side of the Features page ie 2013,2014, the Features came out as 2013,2014, and not broken out as 2013 and 2014 so that if the customer is looking for all 2014 files, he would not see this choice. Has anyone had this? We are thinking of setting up the item now as a physical item, and having it have attributes instead, so that we could associate more than one item to the attribute (ie colors), but with just the one downloadable file attached to the item as a line of instruction would be. Any ideas out there?
NemoPS
If I understood your issue, I believe you should manage versions with attributes too. There can't be a choice for features, which are, at the contrary, pre-set values
The Report Store
Question: Will we have to set up the item as a physical item and not a downloadable one if we use attributes, or could we use it the same as we have now, as a virtual product? And thank you so much.
