Cannot see Front or Backend but can see Xampp databases?

Hi all,

 

I'm a newbie to all this but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on the below problem;

 

I updated to Mac OS10.9.1 and just today I opened Xampp, turned on Apache and MySQL and tried to view my site on http://localhost/prestashop/ as before and Chrome says this:

 

"No data received

 

Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.

Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"

I can log into PHP admin and see my 'Prestashop' database but it seems I cannot view the website or the Prestashop backend. 

Any help would be much appreciated!

So I take it as everything was working normally before?

Are other websites running on xampp working? xampp version?

I also am with a problem similar to the Xampp. Later that I brought up to date my operational system for the Maverick more not to enter to with you in the page of modulos.  I to enter to with you in my administrator and the store, only not with you in the modules. I am in version 1.4.8
