Hi

Will the Paypal module be included with the final release of Prestahop 1.6. I am testing 1.6 alpha 2 and allthough the Paypal pro module is included, the regular Paypal module that was included with previous versions of Prestashop, seems to be missing.

I had the same problem, it was because you have to enter manually the API password and the signature in the Paypal module as the copy-paste doesn't always copy everything good.

And, by the way, another thing is to put the permissions of all files in the Paypal module folder to 744, they are initially set up to 777 and it does generate an error.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

I have same error. PayPal Module is set in Demo Test Mode.

Error occurred:

Please try to contact the merchant:

  1. <b>PayPal response:</b>
  2. TIMESTAMP -> 2014-01-31T23:08:26Z
  3. L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002
  4. L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error
  5. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid
  6. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

I defined the API username, password and signature manually.

I set permissions for PayPal Module folder and all files to 744.

Error still persists.

I have tried different configuration and even spoke to paypal regarding this and they are not aware of any issues.. This must be presta bug..

I can't believe that this issue has not been solved, I'm just about ready to give up. If payment module "PayPal" doesn't work, what's my choice... change hosts? or change (dump) PrestaShop?

He he  respire un bon couq  la patience est ton meilleur allié

I am sure if you follow this link :  paypal.com/mts  and give all info code error you have of your module paypal  the expert technician mercant can help you to fix your problem .

Now my shop online with prestashop  can use modul paypal USA or Europe on all currency without bug.

SOMEONE FROM PRESTASHOP NEEDS TO GET ON THIS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry folks! The answer is here on the Forum only it's hard to find. An issue of this magnitude should be more prominently displayed.

The problem I have been experiencing has been solved. When entering your credentials, in the field "PayPal Business Account:" you should enter your email address.

Hi, open the PayPal USA module and it is the first box, above your PayPal api credentials. The email you enter needs to match your Primary or Administrator email in your PayPal account.

i got the solution from paypal assistance. It was so stupid that i'm almost embarrassed:

in the currency module it was written Eur instead of EUR, this generate of cousre an error of reading Iso code and then payment processing block.

that's it. now everything works fine.
