Editing invoice pdf

I would like to change some things in invoice.tpl and header.tpl in the pdf directory. Where do I put the new files? In override/pdf ?

Also, the logo looks streched in the invoice, how do I fix this?

you can use theme files directory

/themes/YOUR_THEME/pdf/

Thank you, I'm guessing it takes a while before the changes shows up. Do you know the easiest way to preview the changes?

Clear cache in /cache/smarty/compile (all folders).

definitely case related to cache,

in back office there is an option to clear cache with one mouse clich: adv. paramters > performance

you will see button there to clear cache (near cache option field)

Is there an easier way to see a preview/the pdf than to generate an invoice through orders to see the results of each change I do to the code?

I found that I could check it easier by going in at Orders > Invoices and create pdf that way.
