[SOLVED]removing Featured products (change the products shown)

i cannot remove featured products on my prestashop

i unchecked the home association and can see that the products are nog longer in the home categorie but still they show up on the featured products on my site.

id like to change these products every once in a while, but now it only shows the same products

it's related to the cache, because this module use caching since 1.5.4

clear cache in your store please and let me know if this helps

u mean clearing the smarty cache? i did that and no change..

should i enable or disable the smarty cache?

 

and the other cache option, should i use it or not?

can you for test purposes uninstall module and then - install it once again ? 

im asking for it because in uninstall function there is a function to clear module cache, maybe this will help

why don't you just disable the module if you don't want to use it?

If you want to change the products the module shows on the home page, you can just change the order of the products in the home category. This will make the products change accordingly.
