AbigailC Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Hello can someone help me and explain why I only see this: http://click2host.or...pnotworking.jpg I can enter the admin and add products and stuff but I can not see the shop correctly. I asked the hosting if the requirements of prestashop was met and they said yes. So I have no idea what is wrong. TUrned on the error displaying in the config file but nothing appeared. AbigailC Posted July 10, 2013 Author Share Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Well its a new installation and nothing has been added to it, nothing installed. Just the shop. Since I do not know much about his and the payment processor said I needed this I am trying it out. and this is not the latest release as the payment processor couldn't promise their API would work with later version than Prestashop 1.4.6.2 Final. tdr170 Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 If you installed without the demo and modules then nothing was installed except the core files you will need to install all the modules for the front shop. So what module must be activated to make it work? What module will make the script actually show products I added in the admin? also there is no theme except what I assume is the pre-chosen one when installed... tdr170 Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Well it all depends on the installation type you have chosen during install, and yes Prestashop only installs with the default theme. It's hard to say without some way of looking at you site or back office. If you post a link to the site we can be more helpful. If all else seems to fail you can private message me or possibly vekia your BO log in info so we can see what you have done. I downloaded the files from this location http://code.google.com/p/prestashop/downloads/detail?name=prestashop_1.4.6.2.zip&can=2&q=. Should I just install the latest and hope it works with C&B instead?? The source of the front page is almost empty so no errors displaying.. I think I chose the "lite" install and that forced me to later on click and install modules to make it display in the shop. Thanks for the patience and help! tdr170 Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 1.4.6 is old you can download the latest 1.4.11 at Prestashops download center. http://www.prestashop.com/en/developers-versions Scroll down the page and click the + to the right of Prestashop 1.4 and you will see a list of all the 1.4 versions.
