[solved] bottom bar disappeared :s

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm currently running Prastashop 1.5.4.1

On my testpage with a fresh 1.5 installation I can see a big horizontal bar on the bottom. This contains contact information, cms, my account,... (see the attached picture)

On my running page I did an upgrade some time ago, and the bar never appeared as far as I know.

How can I make the bar vissible? The only thing I have on the bottom is 'browse mobile site"

Thanks and Kind regards

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

@Nemo1: I mean the whole footer. I like to ad the cms block into the footer.

@Vekia: I added my url to my userprofile. (still a lot of work on it)

hello

thanks for the url. i checked it and i don't see any footer as you said.

You should check this:

1) go to modules -> positions. You've got there list of all hooks in your store. Try to search on list "footer"

it should looks like: uUdzcuC.png

Have you got this "hook" on your list?

2) Go to your theme directory - it is here: themes/your_theme/ and open footer.tpl file, have you got there something like:

{$HOOK_FOOTER}

?

Hello Vekia,

Thanks, I found the solution.

But again I'm facing a new problem. When I ad the cms block to the footer, it displays to much information. I have opened the tpl file. I understand I have to edit this file to delete the unneeded info-tags.

I'll try to do this.

Thanks a lot !
