(Solved) Module access error after upgrade to 1.5.4 in BO

Recommended Posts

Hi,

just upgraded from 1.4.10 to 1.5.4 and I'm unable to view the modules list from the BO. I can view and change the positions though.

The website encountered an error while retrieving http://lime-square.c...3f38b4293a74e48. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Here are some suggestions:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.

I have deleted some older modules but still no luck.

Any ideas. Thanks.

Thank you for the reply and link.

I have checked the modules folder and the defines.inc.php file is not there. The only files there are changelog, htaccess, index, news, readme and version.

I did find the following in the BO but not sure what to do next.

Found the defines.inc.php in the config folder and got this error message for both the modules and marketing tabs in the BO..

Fatal error: Access level to dibs::$smarty must be protected (as in class PaymentModule) or weaker in /home5/*******/*****/lime-square.co.uk/shop/modules/dibs/dibs.php on line 392

Hi Benjamin,

I have backed up the module and then deleted it off the server via FTP. I can now access the modules and marketing tabs in the BO.

I do have this error though.

The following module(s) were not upgraded successfully:
  • - paypal :
    None upgrades have been applied
To prevent any problem, this module has been turned off

^ I guess I don't need the dips module? What is it for?
