chetwyn
got a show stopper guys... If I have product foo worth $100 and a voucher called bar worth $200. If I used bar (the $200 voucher) to purchase foo (the $100 product). The order will be a free order (as expected) however. The voucher bar (the original $200 voucher) disappears. I've had multiple customers call me and ask were their store credit it. To my surprise there was no store credit provided to them. This is a show stopper for me now as I've got 100's of vouchers in the wild that this use case could occur under. Please help, I really need to try and fix this, it's totally killing my staff I've started looking into it tonight but I really need some support. Mike Kranzler
Hi chetwyn, What version of PrestaShop are you using? And are you using the default Vouchers option, or an external module? -Mike

I did a fresh install on the system just to see if I was loosing it and double check. chetwyn
I'm thinking we must be able to come up with a really simple fix (hack) to I guess check to see if the customer as any credit on the voucher left, if so then after the order create a new voucher for them instead of trying to update the existing one ? I'm thinking this may be easier than attempting to manipulate the existing one.
Mike Kranzler
Hi chetwyn, If you are doing an Amount voucher, you should have an option available that will resolve this for you: Please let me know if that function works for you. -Mike

chetwyn
OK. I've tested it and found the following. When creating a voucher, in order for a new voucher to be created the voucher must be assigned to a customer. If you have a general voucher, and a users uses less than the purchase amount then the voucher get regenerated but not assigned to the user who used it. Is there anyway to get this working ? Mike Kranzler
Hi chetwyn, If the default voucher does not provide you with the level of customization you're looking for, you may want to try this module instead. I hope this helps. -Mike
