[SOLVED] Help moving site from WAMP to another WAMP

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've been developing my new site locally on WAMP server on my notebook and I decided to copy this site to my desktop PC but without any success . I am getting error 404 "We're sorry, but the Web address you entered is no longer available" .

Desktop PC specs:

Windows 7 (64bit)

WAMP v2.2d (64bit)

WAMP and Prestashop install folder: C:\wamp\www\prestashop

Notebook PC specs:

Windows 7 (32bit)

WAMP v2.2d (32bit)

WAMP and Prestashop install folder: C:\wamp\www\prestashop

database name: zlatydrak

Here are steps I made:

Notebook

1. created database backup in back office (Tools-DB backup) and copied to USB Flash drive

2. copied whole "prestashop" folder from C:\wamp\www\ to USB Flash drive

Desktop PC

1. created new database "zlatydrak" in phpMyAdmin and then imported database from USB Flash drive

2. copied "prestashop" folder to C:\wamp\www\

3. generated httaccess file in back office (Tools-Generators)

I can see a homepage but not my products or any other data.

What I see in address bar is:

http://localhost/prestashop/sk/page-not-found

Does anyone know where the problem is. I think there is something wrong with DB connection but I do not know what exactly .

Thx
