[SOLVED]Module New Products - En savoir plus displays for English

I cannot get "En savoir plus" to display the English version of "Learn more". Is this a bug? I have included images from my front and back office. I've done force compile, cleared my browser cache, but no luck. Does someone know how to fix this? Thank you!

Hi dixie,

Please open your blocknewproducts.tpl and replace

 

{l s='En savoir plus'}

with

{l s='En savoir plus' mod='blocknewproducts'}

 

And let me know if that resolves your issue.

we ran into this as well...and found that the English translation of the module was incorrect and was fixed this way:

 

back office-->tools-->translations

select modules translations and the English tab

'open all tabs'

now find 'En savior plus'

 

Change the to English translation

 

scroll to the very bottom and save translations.

I made the change in my blocknewproducts.tpl. That fixed it! Using the translations didn't work for me. Thank you for your help.

I sent this threads link to the user I suggested my above fix originally. I didn't actually make the change I sent an email saying what they needed to fix per above. I'm hoping that Mike's suggestion and fix will help this as well. Thanks Mike.

i'm using version prestashop v 1.4.8.2 , and can't find the line

{l s='En savoir plus'} in /module/blocknewproducts/blocknewproducts.tpl

 

i found it in the theme directory only and even when i change the code , nothing happened

 

I'm using theme Prestashop_new

any other suggestion?

Hi wmadkour,

In your Back Office, please go to Preferences > Performance and set Force Compile to Yes and Cache to No. Additionally, please clear your browser's cache. Then, you should see the changes.
