owas
I have had to so this a few times, and would suggest you look at 4uhosting.co.uk. They have always been able to srt all my requirements, will have all you need to host your site, excellent up time, and plenty of support. DNS usally takes two days, but I have had some up an running same day.

Lichtensteiner
Hello, I prefer http://www.pagejumper.de. It's a realy good provider and the server is very fast. This provider supported Prestashop. Kind regards.
tomerg3
You failed to mention 2 crucial details, what country are you in, and what countries are you targeting. The first thing to look in a host is that it's close to you, or the area you plan to service...
mysolarstore
I am currently using www.iPage.com to host a few installs of Prestashop, and I can't say I've ever had any problems. They currently have an offer too which makes the whole thing a little nicer. Another nice feature of iPage is they have 1 click install for quite a few web systems, including Prestashop, Wordpress and many others, so the task of installing Prestashop is even easier than ever. They currently have 1.4.4, so it seems they are pretty up to date with the current versions of everything. Anyway, go and have a look at the features to see if it's for you..
