[SOLVED] Can customer cancel its own order, when the order is already done?

But it is a little bit awkward for a customer. What if he/she ordered wrong product or made some other mistake? Customers should have let's say 15 minutes time to cancel the order.

What do you think, Presta Team? Is it somehow possible to add this feature into Prestashop?

Would it be a lot of code customization/modification, if i wanted to have the "cancel order" option for customers?

maybe u can cancel by phone!


Email (the slowest solution) or phone, both options are fine, but still the "cancel order" option is the fastest one and i think, it would be a really handy feature for your customers =)

I totaly agree! We're receiving more and more inquiries from clients, that make mistakes when ordering products, and they want to cancel orders themselves. Did anyone found solution for this? Version 1.4.8.2 here :)

Perhaps you should post in the paid jobs section.  The core product does not include this feature, but perhaps a module or modification can be made.

 

One issue you will need to think through, is how would the customer be refunded?  Not all payment providers offer a way to systemically refund the payment, so the merchant still needs to be made aware so they can take action to void/refund the transaction.

 

In my mind, I want to interact with the customer via a Live Chat or Contact Us form, and not allow them to do this by themselves

I'm interesting for a module to allow the customer to change his order only for a specific order status ( for example waiting for payment or COD ) without refund.

 

Do you know if exists this module or who can create it for me ?
