Hi,

After saving the changes in the product, backoffice and frontend hangs only on the client side that you have done in the product.

The page takes a long time to load and nothing happens.

Version: 8.0.4

This is a new store with 5 products.
I already edited the lines in php.ini

Ram: 4GB
Processor: 1 core 2 threads
Disk: 40GB

memory limit: 1024M

Did you set up the server? which OS you are using?

It's not the server's fault, it's prestashop.

How do you know that? Are you a server admin?

To find out what wrong severall things have to checked:

There are several locations in which you can enable cache:

  • OpCode cache
  • Memory cache
  • HTTP cache
  • Application cache

Nginx, Varnish, Lighttpd what is your set up?  Do you use FPM? Then the set of values of the FPM CONF,  the service binary.

Lot of shop owners use apps that’s installed by default in their servers.

For eg. the OS CentOS servers use PHP 5.4, not the latest PHP 7.2 with FPM (FastCGI Process Manager) that has enormous speed advantages.

Stuff like:

  • Timeout
  • KeepAlive – When “KeepAlive” is set to “On”, Apache uses a single connection to transfer all the files to load a page.
  • MaxKeepAliveRequests
  • KeepAliveTimeout
  • MaxClients
  • MinSpareServers & MaxSpareServers
  • HostnameLookups

If it would be only your shop the only thing could be making the shop with drag & Drop "editores" using images on products with 3000x4000px and 6mb sizes.

It seems a firewall/security issue. You are banned/blocked when you send some information, and it's detected as a false positive.
