Need to override the price when add to cart

any solution to override the price of the product when add to cart , without change of core , just to call a hook 

i hope to find solution only for 1.7

Can you please describe what the reason ,behind change price in cart what show in add to cart button or other place .

Hello, 

We prepare new module to builder a product (New system of combinaison). 

The price is changed when option are choose  and it is  calculate. So the main price is changed. 

We need when add to cart the new price is take. 

We have  solution but to complicate and need multi override. 

We think That maybe in 1.7 That is a hook like beforecartaction or same

If I'm not mistaken that is called fraud. A customer chooses a product for 4$ and when paying for it pays 6?

see this pictures , when we click to customize it , our module will show this step ( pic 2-3) with new options to choose , and every option has a price , and finaly we have price of product + price of all options , we need when click to add to cart , have the new price in the cart and order , so. we need to change the price of product when add to cart
