[SOLVED]Date picker in FO does not work in ps1.4.17 but it does in ps1.3.6

Hi,
I have modified order-address.tpl in a way to include two additional information:
deliverydate and deliverytime
the deliverydate has a datepicker that works in ps1.3.6 but I cannot get it to work on ps1.4.017

these are the urls for my tests

in both you can login as
user:[email protected]
pass: test123

in the order steps , when you get to the address step you can choose the date/time, it works in ps1.3.6 but doesnt in ps1.4
looking at the js/jquery folder of ps1.4 it seems the version of datepicker is the same for ps1.3

I just tried use your user account information, but I can not get logged in with authentication error.

when you get to the address step you can choose the date/time

I guess this is a customized functionality, not standard function of PrestaShop.
I think 1.4 and .13 are using different jQuery, make sure you are using correct version.

Hi, I just fixed the authentication problem, now you can access both sites
and yes it is a customized functionality, I used the same jquey function used in the BO AdminOrders (the one used to filter orders by date)

ops, I meant solved the authentication problem you had when you tried to access the site, not the jquery problem

It's a smarty problem, if enabling smart2 the datepicker works as expected, now I ll try to find out what is it what the latest smarty dosnt like.

ps. the module offending smarty is blocktopmenu, now upgraded it for ps1.4.17 and everything works

yes smarty 3 has some changes will cause some issue for old themes.

I dont know what you have installed but there is NO such as Prestashop 1.4.17..
Current version is 1.4.0.17 which makes a bit difference.
And oncoming one will be 1.4.1. - You cant have the higher version then oncoming one.
