IP Address of server showing in browser bar

Recommended Posts

Hey guys i'm having a frustrating cosmetic issue.

I just upgraded to 1.4 and switched webhosts. Everything seems to work great, type in the store URL http://www.yoursite.com and we get the page.

The weird problem is every link after that, it works perfectly fine, however it shows the server ip address instead of yoursite.com.

i.e. should be: http://www.yoursite.com/product.php?id_product=1358
instead get: http://100.100.100.100/product.php?id_product=1358

What am i doing wrong?

Hello there I have simillar problem after migration to the 1.4 final but not with IP showing.
On my Front office is showing the links with not full domain name.
For ex:
Shop address is:
http://XXX.DOMAIN.EU/'>http://XXX.DOMAIN.EU/

But in all link on the Front office:

http://DOMAIN/nove/cms.php?id_cms=2
in stand of
http://XXX.DOMAIN.EU/nove/cms.php?id_cms=2
Also when I copy the link to new window and type the correct
http://DOMAIN.EU/cms.php?id_cms=2
the browser change the link to the wrong one!!!
Please help me
you can take a look it is this site:

Fixed mine at least, with a little help I found that if you scroll far enough down on the SEO & URL's Page within the Backend>Preferences Section there is a URL's bit where you can punch in the domain name you want to use instead of the IP Address.
