JavierP
hello I would like to update my version of prestashop 1.6.1.20 to the current 1.7.4.2, but I find that when updating using the module 1 click autoupgrade (V4.2) I missed the error, from the Database for a "bit" table. I've been looking at another problem just like El Patron, but I can not find the faulty module to create that table. I would appreciate your help. Thank you https://github.com/PrestaShop/autoupgrade/issues/87 Edited September 20, 2018 by JavierP (see edit history)
musicmaster
If you Google "unknown database type bit requested prestashop" you will find quite a few entries. But as far as I can see no definitive solution. Quite a few people were lucky after they upgraded their php version.

Hi mate, thanks for your response.I have tried several versions of php and it jumps the same error ...The problem is that I do not know which way to identify which is the third-party module that created the "groupdiscount" type "bit" table within ps_specific_priceHaber if the partner " El Patron" made a hand to me as he found the solution .... jetway
As far as i am aware 1-click update 4.2 does not support major release updates, meaning from 1.6 -> 1.7. At least the Documentation does not state so. This might be the reason for your issues.
JavierP
Good mate, thank you for your response. But I think that these last versions, I think that from version 4 of module 1 clickautoupgrade, that was the great modification and improvement that they did to the module to be able to update the versions of 1.6 to 1.7 without dying in the attempt ... I hope someone can help me, thanks in advance
