PrestaHeroes USA
Hi, localization-->set language from browser-->enable best practice is to allow PS to set the visitors language from the visitors http language.
artmusicstudio
hi el, thank you very much. i already set this. my intention is to allow users in countries other then german or english to read my web-site in english and then call the shop in english automatically. the "browser-language" solution - as far as i can understand it - only works for languages installed in presta...... so in my german browser, although with a website in english (php-side), the shop will always start in german. edit1: from german broswer the shop start in english - from german windows.....not sure, why... stan Edited September 11, 2018 by artmusicstudio add info (see edit history)
PrestaHeroes USA
I think I understand. default language is german secondary is english for italian(it)/span(es) you want to serve english. The easiest way to do this is to simply set you default language to en.. German visitors will still be served de everyone else en. Make sure when testing, chrome is easiest to mange lang.....to open a chrome incognito window for each new test.
