Tax specification in customer registration

Hello
When you enable taxation in prestashop there will be a field for the customer to fill in if he/she has a tax number.
This field list a host of possible taxes next to this fill-in data block. Can you change the block to only say only"VAT nr." and how can you do this?

You've posted in the wrong forum. It should go in the "Configuring & using PrestaShop" forum. This forum is only for providing information to improve PrestaShop's tax system.

You can go to Tools > Translations, click the USA flag next to Front Office translations, then scroll down to the "prestashop - authentication" section, then enter "VAT Number" as the translation for "Identification Number". You can also change the "Tax Identification" and "DNI / NIF / NIE" strings there. The only problem is that PrestaShop doesn't support entering VAT numbers at the moment. It only supports entering DNI, NIF and NIE numbers. This topic might help for that.
