Quantity with decimal value

Hi guys,

I am working on a prestashop 1.7 for selling fabrics where customers need to be able to order a quantity in a decimal value.
So the customer needs to be able to order for example 1,5 meters of a fabric.
Can anyone tell me where i can find the code to do so.

I hope anyone can help me.

There are quite a few modules for this available. But I am not sure whether there is a list available of all the places that need to be changed when you want to do it yourself.

Free there is nothing available. As musicmaster told before there is no list available which files you should override. There are several, because this kind of products are not considered for to be sold with Prestashop.

If you can convert this modification to a generic module, I am sure you will have many customers who ask for it. My two cents...
