Custom Message at checkout

Hi

How can I add a custom message to the checkout page when a customer order a specific product?

e.g. " Reminding a customer to send a copy of his tv license when ordering a Television."

What version of Prestashop?  And where exactly do you want to see the message?

On my prestashop 1.7.2.x I cannot find the form field in the checkout to write a message within the order. Can I enabled it?
Its strange, because in order emails to the shop there is a part called customer message or something like that.

I don't recall seeing a message field in PS v1.7 checkout.  I don't recall an option to enable it.  I suspect you would need to have a module created, or you could simply perform a google/forum search to seek an existing module.

Note: The order details page in the back office does allow you to interact with the customer directly about that order, which is what I believe you are referring to

Possibly, that depends on what exactly you want.  If you can clearly define your requirements and how it should work exactly, I can determine if a module can accomplish that in PS v1.7 and provide an estimate.
