Email Tempalre de folder is empty

Recommended Posts

Hi,

$DOCUMENT_ROOT/mails/de

is empty.

Where can I find the German translation files?

I have tried under "Import des Lokalisierungsspakets" (localisation import for German)

but the files are not imported into mails/de ...

Thank you

Marcel

Thank you, you are right, but all are empty:

ls -al $DOCUMENT_ROOT/themes/RoyalTheme/mails/de
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 account.html
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 account.txt
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 backoffice_order.html
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 backoffice_order.txt
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 bankwire.html
-rw-rw-rw- 1 wwwrun www    0 11. Mär 22:34 bankwire.txt

...

I would need some pre-translated files if available,

thank you
Marcel

Ok,  I have resolved it like this (prestashop_1.7.0.6):

1) Somehow I ended up having a translation file

$DocumentRoot/translations/emails-de-DE.zip

I have no idea how  it got there, I believe somehow after clicking in the admin console over hours ...

I could not find it here to download: https://www.prestashop.com/en/translations
Probably after registration? https://crowdin.com/project/prestashop-official/de#

Hopefully somebody can shed some light on this.

2) I unzipped it to /tmp

cd /tmp; unzip $DocumentRoot/translations/emails-de-DE.zip

3) I copied it manually

mkdir $DocumentRoot/mails/de; cp /tmp/de-DE/core/* $DocumentRoot/mails/de
mkdir -p $DocumentRoot/themes/RoyalTheme/mails/de/; cp /tmp/de-DE/core/* $DocumentRoot/themes/RoyalTheme/mails/de/
mkdir -p $DocumentRoot/themes/RoyalTheme/modules/ps_emailsubscription/mails/de/; cp /tmp/de-DE/core/* $DocumentRoot/themes/RoyalTheme/modules/ps_emailsubscription/mails/de/
mkdir -p $DocumentRoot/modules/ps_emailsubscription/mails/de/; cp /tmp/de-DE/modules/ps_emailsubscription/* $DocumentRoot/modules/ps_emailsubscription/mails/de/

Now my emails get translated,

regards

Marcel
